If you don’t have a lot of money to spend on a brand new kitchen then have a think about simply updating the cabinet doors, hardware & if you wish, the flooring.
Attend your local hard ware, chose laminate primer & laminate paint. Have the paint only tinted the colour of choice.
Remove all your cabinet doors, remove the handles from the doors, give each a light sand back & front. Don’t forget to sand your cabinets sides & edges themselves. Wipe down & apply a coat of laminate primer to all areas. Allow this to dry for 3-4 hours then give each door another light sand. Apply 2 coats of laminate paint to all areas (allow each coat to dry properly).
Once everything has dried, re-install the cabinet doors & the new hardware. To make it look more modern, you can add new tapware, a coat of paint on the walls, update the flooring & even the lighting. With all this completed, it would still cost less than a brand new kitchen.
Change the laminate paint for a great quality stain or tinted acrylic paint of choice.
